Comments = A great wine from a great producer. This wine shows what a good Chardonnay dominant wine can look like in Friuli. Precision of the acidity and sharpness of aromas together with a great level of complexity and an enjoyable length.

Comments = This wine offers a quality-price ratio that is just incredible. Found this level of quality for less than 25 euros is something quite exceptional. You should not hesitate to let yourself be tempted by this wine. At this price, it is also a very good opportunity to discover a very fine example of Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. A beautiful opulence on the nose, a beautiful roundness in the mouth. This wine is full of freshness with a good level of aromatic complexity around mango and ginger. A very good aroma-acidity balance. A nice long finish.

Comments = This superb Blanc de Blancs continues to express all its freshness and precise acidity. The overall balance of this 2008 wine remains stunning years later. Aromas of citrus, biscuits and brioche are complemented wonderfully by acidity and a lingering bubble. Its finish is very long and persistent. Undoubtedly, one of the greatest Champagnes that I have had the chance to taste for a unique and exceptional 2008 vintage which allowed the full potential of this single-plot champagne to be expressed. This is a truly mythical and timeless Champagne.

Comments = A 2018 vintage that we were impatiently awaiting from this benchmark producer in the Franciacorta appellation. A pleasing result of accuracy and finesse with a persistent bubble that blends perfectly with the acidity. Accuracy of aromas, complexity, everything is there for this “0 dosage” Franciacorta which has significant aging potential. A real pleasure to share.

Comments = What a beautiful 2011 vintage! We can only thank Barone Pizzini for offering us this wine so well made and with the breathtaking result for a “zero dosage” Franciacorta. The finesse and precision of the aromas, the finesse and persistence of the bubbles, everything is there. This wine is really the perfect example that proves that you can make an exceptional sparkling wine without adding sugar. At this price, we want more…

Comments = This wine offers a very good overall quality, particularly in relation to its price. The aromas are precise and delicate. The bubble is fine and slightly creamy. This is a “dosaggio zero” (no dosage = no added sugar) of very good quality. I really hope that Girolamo Conforti will offer us other vintages of this wine because it is full of promise.
