A “Gyropalette” is a metal cage with a remote-controlled and mobile frame that holds several dozen, neck-pointing-down, bottles of sparkling wine made using the traditional method. The “Girasol” was created in Catalunya in the 1970s. It is an automated form of riddling (see “remuage” for further information).
