Gibberellins are hormones that vines naturally produce and which control vine growth, first isolated from a rice plant fungus in 1941, and since then, they have undergone much research. These hormones develop in the vine’s leaves, roots, and berries during the tissue development phase.
Using gibberellin hormone-based sprays on vineyards composed of seedless vine species has produced larger berries, very interesting for table grape production.
