The “Verticillium Wilt” is a fungal disease which causes healthy vines to collapse suddenly.

The fungus ‘Verticillium dahliae’ lives in the soil and attacks new vineyards. Young vines are usually affected but are usually able to recover from it.

Unfortunately, there is no solution known against this disease except avoid planting on sites where the fungus exists.
