a) Presentation
The ‘Zero Pesticide Residu’ Label is a certification carried by the “Nouveau Champ” collective. This program guarantees the consumer the absence of residues of 250 active substances.
It should be noted that this label applies to a bottle of wine and not to a domain. Indeed, obtaining this label is dependent on laboratory analyzes of each cuvée produced.
b) Main guidelines
Obtaining this label is done in 3 steps:
- Compliance with specifications
- Audit by a third-party organization
- Laboratory analysis of wines to ensure deviations below the quantification limits for the targeted molecules.
c) An example of a certified winery in Bordeaux
The Tutiac winery in Bordeaux offers wines that are certified Zero Résidus de Pesticides.
