GENERAL ASSESSMENT (1)
- Overall Quality = Very Very Good
- Bottle Aging =
- Can be kept at around 10-12°C for up to 10-12 years
- Will gain complexity from aging
- Retail Price = 30 euros for a 75cl individual bottle (France retail price, incl. taxes)
- Value for Money = very good
- Comparison with same price competition = very good
- Suitability for Diabetics = suitable (but residual level of sugar not communicated)
- Service Temperature = around 16°C
- Suggested Food & Wine Pairing = Pasta with meat sauce, Stewed red meat, Grilled/roasted meat, braised lamb, wild boar and venison
- Comments = Power and precision, this wine offers a wonderful acidity that makes it very elegant. It has clearly raised the bar on what Puglia has to offer to the world of wine regarding the Primitivo grape. The finish is complex and long. I cannot recommend this wine enough.
- Final Grade = A-
