GENERAL ASSESSMENT (1)

  • Overall Quality = Very very good
  • Bottle Aging =
    • Can be kept at around 8°C for up to 4-5 years
    • Will not gain complexity from aging
  • Retail Price = 35 euros for a 75cl individual bottle (France retail price, incl. taxes)
  • Value for Money = good
  • Comparison with same price competition = good
  • Suitability for Diabetics = level of residual sugar not communicated
  • Service Temperature = around 12°C
  • Suggested Food & Wine Pairing = Fruit desserts, Fish, White meat, Appetizer, mediterranean cuisine, flambéed prawns, grilled prawns, king prawns, aioli shrimp, ‘Tapenade’
  • Comments = I really like this great rosé from Bandol focused on finesse and elegance with characteristic notes of the dominant Mourvèdre grape (typical of Bandol), a slight solar flavour profile, a nice tension on the palate which complements the acidity of the wine. Many nuances in the mouth and a long and complex finish. A very beautiful rosé to enjoy convivial and sunny moments around Mediterranean cuisine
  • Final Grade = A-
