Comments = What a beautiful 2011 vintage! We can only thank Barone Pizzini for offering us this wine so well made and with the breathtaking result for a “zero dosage” Franciacorta. The finesse and precision of the aromas, the finesse and persistence of the bubbles, everything is there. Tasting note: “Chiuse Vidalba”, Etna Rosso, Torre Mora, 2016

Comments = This wine is close to perfection thanks to its finesse, elegance and overall balance. Tannins, acidity, aromas, all elements are precise and well balanced. This creates a very beautiful wine on the palate and a complex finish. This wine is well worth its price!

Tasting note: “Scalunera”, Etna Rosso DOC, 2017, Torre Mora

Comments = I really liked this wine which offers a very good quality for a very small price. A wine all in relief and which expresses very well its volcanic soil. Many nuances and finesse are expressed in the glass while being quite expressive and offering a good length in the mouth. A very nice discovery that cannot disappoint and that I recommend without hesitation.

Tasting Note: Franciacorta DOCG, Dosaggio Zero, 2016, Girolamo Conforti

Comments = This wine offers a very good overall quality, particularly in relation to its price. The aromas are precise and delicate. The bubble is fine and slightly creamy. This is a “dosaggio zero” (no dosage = no added sugar) of very good quality. I really hope that Girolamo Conforti will offer us other vintages of this wine because it is full of promise.

Comments = I loved the value for money this wine offers because it is simply amazing. Below 20 euros there is nothing to complain about and I cannot recommend it enough.

Tasting Note: Marques de Riscal, Gran Reserva, 150 Aniversario, Rioja, 2016

Comments = I really like the finish of this wine is particularly interesting, it is velvety, long and nuanced. It is a beautiful and elegant Rioja that still shows a lot of aging potential.

Tasting Note: Charlouise, Sancerre, Vincent Pinard, 2018

Comments = Finesse and elegance on the palate with a complex and long finish. The balance aromas-acidity-tannins is just perfect and the nuanced perfumes of forest fruits are a true beauty. This wine is without any shed of a doubt an outstanding Sancerre!

Tasting Note: Vigneto Bellavista, Gran Selezione, 2016, Castello di Ama

Comments = This wine offers a beautiful elegance and finesse together with a good body, mouthfeel and a wonderful acidity. The tannins are powerful but not too strong and complete this wine to achieve a balance close to perfection. The finish is long, refined and seducing, centered around black cherry and black plum. This is without any doubt a superb Chianti with a lot of aging potential.
